Overview
Over-allJobPurpose
The job holder will be responsible for provision of accurate vehicle repair estimates and sharing approved estimates with the Aftersales team.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of vehicle repair estimates as per technician input in the standardestimate form.
- Ensuring that correct information in form of part numbers, parts description, partsprices, and appropriate Labour Time Guide (LTG) codes are used in estimatepreparation.
- Check for any price variations to ensure generated estimates capture the currentparts prices.
- PreparationofdailyEstimatesSummaryandsharingthesummarywithWorkshopLeadership team.
- Identification of superseded parts and making appropriate substitutions in theestimate.
- Loading the correct Service Menus in the estimate.
- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements and qualifications
Additional education
- Diploma in Automotive Engineering ir its equivalent.
- Computer literacy.
Experience
2 YearsAdditional experience
- Minimumof two years of hands-onexperience in a busy Vehicle Repair Workshop.
