Overview

A Mombasa based Tea export company is looking for a Tea Trader

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be involved in the commercial aspect of our business which includes purchasing, selling and the use of market tools, along with tea tasting and grading in accordance with Food Safety Management System, ISO 22000:2018.

A practical and analytical approach, creativity, determination, and an ability to think laterally are keys to becoming successful in this position.

Requirements and qualifications

Certification in a relevant field

Experience

None

Additional experience

A minimum of 15 years work experience in tea tasting, grading, blending and international sales.
ITTS and ERP experience.
Experience in dealing with international clients across different geographies and cultures.
Ability to identify problems, concerns and generate ideas for improvement within the Food Safety Management System, ISO 22000:2018.
