REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN

Overview

Vert Limited an Agri-business company based in Machakos County in Kenya, that deals in processing and packing of fruits and vegetables, is seeking to recruit a Refrigeration Technician.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair company refrigeration and Air Conditioning systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and implement effective solutions.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to test refrigeration systems and Air Conditioning components.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies related to refrigeration systems.
• Ensuring safety procedures are followed to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
• Performing scheduled maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and ensuring all components are in good working condition.
• Conducting regular inspections of refrigeration systems to check for signs of wear, leaks, or other issues.

Additional education

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning

Experience

Additional experience

• 2+ years' experience working on Industrial refrigeration system installation, maintenance and repair.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics.
