Roverlane Motors is seeking to hire Grade 1Motor Vehicle Mechanics or Diploma Engineers.

Responsibilities

Grade 1motor vehicle mechanics or diploma engineering.
Three years working experience in a european vehicle workshop .
Engine and gearbox rebuild and able to diagnose and trouble shoot faults in vehicles

Additional skills

1. Mechanical Knowledge – Understanding how engines, transmissions, brakes, and other systems work.

2. Diagnostics & Troubleshooting – Using tools and techniques (like OBD scanners) to find and fix issues.

3. Tool Proficiency – Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, lifts, and diagnostic equipment.

4. Electrical Systems Knowledge – Understanding wiring, batteries, alternators, starters, and ECU systems.

5. Preventive Maintenance – Performing oil changes, inspections, filter replacements, and other routine tasks.

6. Knowledge of Safety Standards – Following safety protocols and using proper protective gear.
