Summary: The U.S. Mission in Nairobi is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Human Resources Assistant.
The work schedule for this position is: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Start date: Candidate must be able to begin working within a reasonable period of time of receipt of agency authorization and/or clearances/certifications or their candidacy may end.
Supervisory Position: No
Responsibilities
Duties: Position is responsible for logistical oversight of LE Staff evaluation process and processing of within range increase (WRI) personnel actions; will coordinate LE Staff orientation program and the point of contact for Length of service and safe driving awards process. Overall supervision provided by HR Assistant (Performance and Analytical Team Lead), Position number C54010
Requirements and qualifications
Additional education
Education: Two years of university or college studies is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE: Level IV (Fluent, Reading/speaking /writing) English is required. (This may be tested.)
Level III (Good working knowledge, Reading/Speaking/Writing) Kiswahili is required
Experience
2 YearsAdditional experience
Two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in the field of Human Resources, Management, or Administration is required.
