Clinical Officer

Overview

Neema Hospital is recruiting a Clinical Officer with experience in a busy inpatient and outpatient facility

Responsibilities

• Taking history, examining, diagnosing and treating patients’ common ailments at an out-patient or in-patient health facility;

• Sensitizing patients and clients on preventive and promotive health;
• Provide comprehensive and good quality clinical services to patients.
• Diagnose and institute appropriate treatment for different medical conditions as per the given standard guidelines.
• Carry out other treatment activities and minor surgical procedures.
• In collaboration with the team receive and attend to patients who require emergency services.
• Appropriately refer patients who require hospitalization or specialized services.
  Ensure that patient data/ information are handled confidentially.
• Conduct any other duty as may be prescribed by the supervisor

Education

• diploma in clinical Medicine and Surgery

Additional education

• Have a Basic Diploma in Clinical Medicine & Surgery from Kenya Medical Training College or any recognized institution

Experience

Additional experience

• Have a valid License from the Clinical Officers Council of Kenya
• At least 3 years of work experience in a busy inpatient and outpatient facility
