Our client in the Automotive Industry is looking for an Automotive Assessor

Job Title: Automotive Assessor

Department/Division: Aftersales

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Manager; implements customers’ needs regarding vehicle problems and repair timeline, and display exemplary customer service skills and knowledge of assignment.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

1. Receiving, reviewing, distributing and giving recommendations on motor related claims mail. Advising on the motor claims repair estimate.
2. Draw the internal auto assessor report and where possible supplying parts and coordinating the process or directly overseeing the repair job.
3. Organizing and regularly monitoring the Insurance jobs to ensure the company achieves savings from parts supply and invoice discounting.
4. Assessing and re-inspecting motor vehicles and meeting brokers and clients in the field over repair complaints and dispute resolutions;
5. Managing salvage duties;
6. Making regular visits to branch workshops/garages to check on ongoing repairs.

Education

• diploma in automotive engineering

Additional education

1. Diploma in Automotive Engineering
2. Certificate of proficiency in Insurance a must

Experience

Additional experience

1. At least two (2) years of experience as a technician.
2. Ability to operate all auto repair tools
3. Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must
