The role holder is responsible for understanding the sales performance metrics and ensure sales targets are met.
This is identifying prospective customers, generating leads, driving new sales opportunities and closing business.
The job is based on utilizing your skills to listen to client business issues and helping clients understand how their issues can be solved using data solutions
Roles and Responsibilities
Work requirements and tasks will be guided by the laid down policies and procedures which is reviewed periodically but will fall broadly in the following Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
Working with the executive team to identify and execute sales strategies.
Identifying and analyzing business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry.
Sourcing and opening new sales through inbound and outbound lead.
Working closely with the marketing team to support sales objectives and execution plans.
Creating and maintaining database of potential customers.
Overseeing the sale process all the way from initiation to closing.
Maintaining timely and accurate sales visits and appointments, contacts and sales opportunities.
Developing and maintaining good working relationships with new and existing customers.
Setting up meetings, preparing and delivering presentations to potential clients.
Utilizing sales and digital tools to create professional and tailored prospecting strategies.
Preparation of proposals and handing them over to the management for approval and after-sale services with the client to ensure sales.
Staying abreast with current market trends to develop marketing initiatives and identifying target markets.
Liaise with Business Development Manager to identify and develop marketing opportunities.
Liaise with team to identify potential for expanding products e.g., special offers & discounts.
Seeks customer feedback to identify marketing opportunities.
Aid in office-based activities from time to time e.g. presentation to walk in clients
A diploma in the related field.
A degree in a related field will be an added advantage but not mandatory
- 1 year experience in Sales and Marketing.
- Must be ambitious and focused with a desire to succeed in a sales career.
- Well groomed, presentable and confident with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
