Are you an experienced, youthful Human Resources Manager or a strong Human Resources partner looking to join a team of vibrant young professionals and grow with the organisation?

Our client, a trusted global consultant committed to empowering, innovating, and driving growth and prosperity in Risk and Insurance, Reinsurance, Actuarial, and Investment Advisory, is recruiting a Human Resources Manager.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  1. HR Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the objectives and challenges of the company and the industry.
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and address HR priorities and initiatives that drive business success.
  • Lead the implementation of HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, talent management, and building a strong organizational culture.
  1. Recruitment and Selection:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process, targeting individuals with relevant expertise.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to identify talent requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Utilize specific job boards, digital platforms, and networking to attract highly qualified candidates.
  • Work with hiring managers to facilitate interviews, assess candidates' proficiency in industry practices, and make informed hiring decisions.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments to attract top talent in this competitive market.
  1. Leadership and Employee Relations:
  • Strong leadership of firmness and fairness
  • Proven ability to lead organizationalchange initiatives successfully.
  • Excellent change management skills enabling them to navigate and facilitate smooth transitions during times of restructuring, mergers, or other significant changes within the company.
  • Cultivate positive employee relations and foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances promptly, impartially, and in compliance with company policies and employment laws.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
  • Implement effective communication channels to engage employees and maintain strong employer-employee relationships.
  • Lead a team of 40 young professionals
  1. Innovative and Data Driven Approach
  • Highly innovative and forward thinking, leveraging the latest HR technologies, tools, and best practices to drive HR efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Have strong analytical skills and use data driven insights to make informed decisions and recommendations.
  1. High Ethical Standards
  • Impeccable ethical standards demonstrating integrity, confidentiality and a commitment to fairness and professionalism.
  • Maintain the highest level of ethical conduct whilst dealing with sensitive HR matters.
  • Identify training and development needs across the organization.
  1. HR Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry-specific requirement.
  • Stay abreast of changes in labour laws and regulations that impact e-commerce operations.
  • Update policies, procedures, and practices to align with legal requirements and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation.

Requirements and qualifications

Additional education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • Masters degree will be an added advantage

Experience

5 Years

Additional experience

  • Proven minimum of 3 years’ experience as an HR manager or in a similar HR leadership role.
  • A minimum of five years in Human resources and Administration

Additional skills

  • Exceptional communicator both verbally and in writing. Have excellent presentation skills, ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner and be skilled at influencing and negotiating with diverse stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, practices, and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced, digital environment
