HOMESTAY CARETAKERS

Overview

We are looking for Homestay Caretakers to be based in Nyeri.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance & repairs from outside suppliers, and ensure they are carried out satisfactorily
• Responsible enough to be left overall in charge of a Residence unsupervised
• Cooking (a variety of meals)
• Cleaning/Making Beds/Room Steward/Stewardess.
• Laundry Supervision/Pressing of garments & linen

Additional education

• A Diploma/Qualification from a well-established college, Preferably in Housekeeping/Food & Beverage Preparation/Hotel Management.
• Educated up to Form 4, and beyond. Preference for diploma holders

Experience

Additional experience

• 3-4 years of experience in Housekeeping, Food and Beverage preparation/Hotel Management

Additional skills

• Cooking (a variety of meals)
• Cleaning/Making Beds/Room Steward/Stewardess.
• Laundry Supervision/Pressing of garments & linen

Terms and conditions

• All genders are encouraged to apply preferable from ages 30-45 years old.
• Should be willing to work on Weekends and Public Holidays when the need arises.
• Must have references from previous employer + a Certificate Of Good Conduct from DCI.
