Disability Inclusion Research Consultant

Overview

The LNOB initiative in Kenya intends to engage a consultant to carry out research to determine drivers and level of marginalization among people with disabilities in four Counties of Kenya.

Additional education

Bachelor’s degree in social science, education, development studies, governance and accountability or in relevant subject preferably with a concentration in Social Sciences

Experience

Additional experience

• Demonstrated experience in research activities and participatory approaches.
• Exhibit an understanding on sustainable development goals and the principle of leaving no one behind.
• Understanding of disability and gender inclusion.
• Good command of MS Word, Excel, and data analysis packages.
• Familiarity with English and Kiswahili as a language.
• Experience working with Persons with Disabilities is desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish a good rapport with relevant stakeholders.
