1. Tell me about yourself.
Keep it professional: your background, what you have done, and why you are here. Aim for 90 seconds and practice until it sounds natural.
2. Why do you want to work here?
Research the company thoroughly. Mention specific things — their recent projects, values, market position. Generic answers stand out for the wrong reasons.
3. What is your greatest weakness?
Choose a real weakness, but pair it with what you have done to improve. Never say "I work too hard."
4. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Show ambition that aligns with what the company can offer. Avoid answers that signal you will leave quickly.
5. What is your salary expectation?
Research market rates on My Jobs Kenya and industry salary surveys. Provide a range, anchored slightly high.

For any "Tell me about a time when..." question, use the STAR method: Situation, Task, Action, Result. Always end with a measurable outcome.
